Our strategy to enter the Douro demarcated region focused, as in the D\u00e3o, on the acquisition of vineyards with terroir<\/em> and an excellent track record in grape production, while keeping our long-term commercial purposes in mind<\/p>\n

Therefore, we focused our search on the Pocinho Valley where we have about 40 hectares of the best vineyards, spread over three wine estates (Quinta das Braceiras, Vale Marianes and Vale da Vila) and more than 30 hectares of olive groves and other permanent crops.<\/p>\n

Here, the characteristic grape varieties of this demarcated region, such as Viosinho, Rabigato, Fern\u00e3o Pires, C\u00f3dega do Larinho, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto C\u00e3o, and Tinta Roriz, take center stage.<\/p>\n

Also in the municipality of Foz C\u00f4a, we tried to introduce something different into our production and the choice fell on Quinta Vale do Viso, which is located at an altitude of 680 meters, allowing us to produce grapes with an unusual freshness in the torrid context of the Douro.<\/p>\n

In this wine estate, the Viosinho and Touriga Franca grape varieties predominate.<\/p>\n

With great pride in the work carried out by a huge and excellent team, this wine center created the Duvalley Douro Reserva 2010, which was considered the best red wine in tasting (BestWineTrophy<\/em>) at the important Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2013.<\/p>\n
