1999
Tavfer Vinhos is a Tavfer Group brand which brings together dozens of companies in sectors as varied as tourism, real estate, metalworking, agroforestry or vehicle inspections.
Our approach to wine production began in the 1990s, in Tábua, with a small production at Quinta Picos do Couto, a production that evolved to become, today, a reference in award-winning Dão wines.
In 2005, we started implementing a new strategic paradigm with the purchase of Quinta do Serrado and Quinta do Mosteiro, in Penalva do Castelo, in the Dão demarcated region, which culminated with the operation of three wine estates in the Douro demarcated region: Quinta das Braceiras, Quinta do Vale da Vila and Quinta do Vale do Viso.
Our policy
These investments show that our policy is based on the prevalence we give to the quality and diversity of our production, without forgetting that our environment is essential. Therefore, all our production is developed in an integrated production mode.
